Lan Wangji feels so satiated and full on his high. His body started to cool off, and then curled up to his lover in his embrace for warmth beneath the blanket, not caring about the mess for once. More than anything, being together with him, there's a sense of security and safety. Reaching out to wrap his arms around his lover, he nuzzles on his shoulders and arms, planting kisses to worship his body with his lips to calm their high down.

In time, when his size reverts back to normal, he is able to pull out from him and separate, granting relief.

After awhile the contact does become uncomfortable but it is worth it to be so close to Lan Wangji. As the man pulls out there, his body can relax back to normal and that small ache from the activity starts to form. He's not surprised that he gets sore from it and it's well worth it so he doesn't mind.

"Mm..maybe not every day. I don't want you to break me."

It brings Lan Wangji no pleasure to cause his mate pain, and when enough is enough. He figured it's time to call it for the night.

"Then rest. There are other ways without causing you pain. We'll figure it out." For once, the night is quiet at least.

"My spells don't work. I can heal you, but I learned it's not working either."

"It's okay Lan Zhan. It's like a badge of honor. A little pain as a reminder of a good time." He can handle the discomfort...just don't expect him to walk well for a few hours.

He sighs contently and curls up on top of him.

If Wei Wuxian won't be able to walk, Lan Wangji will be a good alpha and mate, protecting him and caring for him.

Hearing that, he is relieved that he enjoys it and his partner is satisfied. "Mm. I'm glad." However, his soreness and pain is a cause of concern for him. He'll figure out a way somehow. Maybe find some medicine to make up for his abilities.

He placed a kiss on the top of his head, and eventually a kiss on his lips. "Mm. Good night, Wei Ying. Sweet dreams." Followed by a very soft mumbled, "Love you." Before drifting off to sleep.

Wei Wuxian is exhausted and already starting to doze when Lan wangji placed those kisses upon him. He hums his response in his half asleep state, hearing the words that someday he'll be able to say himself.
